The Nigerian army has discovered another bomb-making factory in Kumshe, Borno state. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Boko Haram bombs
The army’s spokesperson Sani Usman announced this in a statement made available. He said that troops of 7 Division Strike Group Team B on clearance operations of the remnants of Boko Haram insurgents at Kumshe made startling discoveries of Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making factory, rockets and high claibre ammunitions.
In November last year, the deadly Boko Haram sect has released photos apparently showing a rocket-making factory in north-eastern Nigeria. The sect has used rocket-propelled grenades in the past and many Nigerians have been asking where the arms have been coming from.
The Nigerian military has recaptured all of the towns previously under Boko Haram control but the group still carries out frequent attacks, particularly in Borno state. President Muhammadu Buhari has announced in December 2015 that all the territories have been resized from the insurgents while the sect has been technically defeated.
